How to use a silicone square ice cube tray?
Fill the tray 3/4 full with water, freeze until solid, let it sit for 30 seconds, then push the bottom to pop the ice out easily.
- Pour water into the tray to about 3/4 full (do not overfill, leave space for expansion)
- Cover the tray and place it in the freezer until the water is fully frozen
- Take the frozen tray out and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 seconds
- Push the bottom of each compartment gently, the ice cubes will pop out easily

How to get rid of the silicone smell on your new ice cube tray？
First time using the silicone ice tray and smell silicone?The factory oil and material smell can get stuck in the ice.Try these two easy ways before first use:
1、Wash the tray inside and out with dish soap and warm water,rinse clean.
2、Mix 1 spoon baking soda+2 spoons white vinegar with hot water(about 60℃).Soak the tray for 30 minutes,rinse,then pour boiling water over it and let it dry.
If you’ve used it for a while and there’s still a smell:
Fill the tray with water,add 1 spoon baking soda,freeze it into ice,then rinse with hot water.Or soak it with lemon slices and hot water for 20 minutes,the lemon will take away the smell.

FAQ
What if the ice tray is too soft and spills easily when full of water?
Our ice tray comes with reinforced edges and thickened silicone material for better support. It stays stable and does not deform or spill water when filled and moved.
Why are there white residues on the surface of the ice cube tray?
The white marks are usually mineral deposits from water, not mold. You can easily remove them by washing with warm water or cleaning in the dishwasher.
What size ice cube mold is suitable for whiskey or cocktails?
For whiskey and cocktails, the 2.0 inch square ice cube is the most popular and standard choice, it melts slowly and will not dilute the taste of wine, perfect for most old fashioned glasses and cocktail glasses.
The 1.5 inch size is great for small cocktails and regular daily drinking. If you prefer pure whiskey tasting and want a high-end look, you can choose the extra large 3.0 inch square ice mold.

Why are the ice cubes not clear?
The clarity of ice cubes mainly depends on water quality and freezing speed. It has nothing to do with the silicone mold or its material quality.
Silicone molds only affect how easy the ice is to take out, whether there is odor, and how soft the mold is. They will not make the ice cloudy or white.
